Live Life Fully!
What does it mean to live life fully? To me, it means knowing myself, accepting and loving myself and others, exploring, experiencing adventure, and connecting with others in a meaningful way — with JOY as my foundation.

What does it mean to live LIFE fully? What does it mean to you?
To me, it means a lot of things I suppose. I want to know myself, be aware of all my gifts and skills and use them to better the world around me. I want to accept and love myself and others. I want to explore, experience adventure and connect with others in a meaningful way. I want to learn, grow and evolve in my lifetime. I want to love and represent goodness. I want to be understanding, live authentically, be empathetic. I want to be able to be confident in my words and actions. I want to be able to forgive myself and others. I want to feel free and light and be full of JOY.
This doesn't mean that we can't feel down, or sad or unhappy. We can feel anything and still have JOY as our FOUNDATION.
Joy is a state of mind or being, in any situation. It is similar to a foundation that we can either stand on, or walk on, or sit on, or dance on, or cry on, or stomp on...
One can accept JOY as their foundation of their lives. JOY is the practice of looking for goodness. JOY is the practice of using your Higher Human Mind, so that you are utilizing the MIND to create circuits of JOY and not circuits of STRESS.
The connections of neurons, or wires, that are stored in our emotional brain controls most of our responses in life. If you are feeling good and are free of stress, you are running a highly effective wire in your Higher Human Mind. We call this a JOY Circuit. However, if you are feeling anything negative, you have indeed triggered your STRESS Circuit in your Survival Brain. This is necessary at times, after all, we will need that Survival Brain... but just for short periods of time. This is where learning how to COMMAND your brain comes in. You can learn to observe your thoughts in the Survival Brain. Act if necessary. Learn from them if needed. Then command your Higher Human Mind to activate. Here is where we have the amazing Human ability to explore all the opportunities that may be within a circumstance or event.
We should see ourselves similar to an Orchestra leader. Commanding one part of the brain to turn up the volume and the other to quiet when not needed. The Survival Brain has a tendency to be very loud at times. For some folks, they spend a lot of time here in auto pilot — negative thoughts and feelings — and closed-minded thoughts. The good news is we have the ability to change and re-wire our brains to strengthen the Higher Human Mind and weaken the Survival Brain for a life focused on possibilities and JOY.
In this Higher Human Mind, we use our entire ability. We fully LIVE here. If you know someone that is difficult to be around, most likely they are in the Survival Brain quite a bit. If you know someone that is full of positive energy that is contagious, they most likely are in their Higher Human mind more often.
This is seen in Functional MRI's (or FMRI). Our moods are specifically shown on MRI's because of where the neurons are firing. How you feel is directly related to which region of your brain is active — Joy is an inside job, literally and Neuro-chemically.
We are not our brains per se. We are; however, the commanders of our brains. We are the orchestra conductor. Which life song do you want to play?
